If you&#039;re at a friend&#039;s house and borrow their computer to check the forums, you&#039;ll be giving your password to any malware running on it. If you go to the local coffee shop and use their wireless, the proxy server they use (usually Windows-based) may be compromised and sniffing passwords too. Yes pulling a man-in-the-middle on an SSL session is tricky, but all it takes is one geek to set it up once and package it and then any clueless script-kiddy can deploy and use it.</description>
